Welcome  Rusty's Ride in the Park. When I started my first podcast, Rusty Chain's Commuter, I noticed that the music I like to ride to on my commute is a harder and faster than the music that I usually like to listen to live or at home. I started setting the songs that I like, but didn't want to ride to aside, and they turned into this show. Rusty's Ride in the Park will focus more on Americana, Blues along with some acoustic pop and the like. I can't promise that it will be out every week, but when I do get a show out it will be great music, mostly by artists that you can catch live in the near future. - this is the show that you put on boom box on the picnic table in the park when you are just chilling on a Sunday afternoon.

  EPISODE 4 - Feb 18, 2007

I wanted to give internet radio a tr and had a good show Saturday Morning at 6:00am on FreeCast, a UK-based shoutcast server.  This is a podcast of the same songs I played on the show.   ON the show I mention the Blues Journey Play at the Kennedy Center.  Today is the last day for the show, but you can read a review here.

 In any case, enjoy!

  EPISODE 3 - Feb 11, 2007 - LIVE!

A special live show! I had the opportunity to record a set of BBQ Bob and the Spareribs' show at Madam's Organ in Washington, DC last night.  It was a great show and I had a hard time cutting the 1-1/2 hour set into a 40 minute show.  Walter Tate Jr. from the local band One Nite Stand was the sound guy who gave me a nice clean feed and a great sax player who sat in for much of the set.

Enjoy, I did!
